Tim Murray has been an attorney for over 35 years, nearly 25 of those in Tim’s hometown, Winamac, IN. He and his wife Joan, a Winamac native and Tim’s high school sweetheart, have raised their four children here in Winamac.
Tim has a B.S. in Business and Finance from Indiana State University (1985) and J.D. from Valparaiso School of Law (1989). He is a member of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church, serving as a lector, Eucharistic minister, server, and greeter in addition to serving on the Parish Finance Committee. Tim continues to be involved in the Pulaski County community by serving as Board Member of the Pulaski County Health Board, the Pulaski County Drainage Board Attorney, and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Education is important to Tim, and each year he hires a high school intern to be a part of his team. His law office offers a scholarship to a student from the graduating class at Winamac Community High School and West Central High School each spring. He is also a volunteer for Junior Achievement and volunteer reader and mentor to elementary students. Tim is a member of Lawyers With Purpose. LWP is a group of lawyers whose primary focus is estate planning, elder law, and asset protection. Through educational workshops and proper planning, Tim helps families prepare for and protect against the unexpected life events.
